support services that can assist individuals with
developmental disabilities and their families living in
Washington State. Services include Case Management,
Medicaid Personal Care, Employment, Community Access,
Foster Care Placement, Community Support, Residential
Service etc.
King County Developmental Disabilities Division (KCDDD)

The King County Developmental Disabilities Division
assists people with developmental disabilities and their
families with child development, family resource
coordination, employment services, community access
opportunities, and community support programs within King
County area.
Arc of King County

The Arc of King County provides services and support to
people with developmental disabilities and their families
living in Seattle and King County. The Arc of King County
also provides resource guide of other local and national
service providers who serve people with developmental
disabilities.

National Network of Libraries of Medicine Pacific Northwest Region

The mission of the National Network of Libraries of Medicine
(NN/LM) is to advance the progress of medicine and improve the
public health by: 1) providing all U.S. health professionals
with equal access to biomedical information; and, 2) improving
the public's access to information to enable them to make
informed decisions about their health. The program is coordinated
by the National Library
of Medicine and carried out through a nationwide network of h
health science libraries and information centers.

Medline Plus will direct you to information to help
answer health related questions. Medline Plus brings
together, by health topic, authoritative information from
NLM, the National Institutes of Health (NIH), other
governments, non profits and other health- related
organizations. Pre-formulated Medline searches are
included on Medline plus and give easy access to the
medical research literature. It also provides you with a
database of full-text drug information and an illustrated
medical encyclopedia.

beliefs, medical issues and other related issues
pertaining to the health care of recent immigrants to
Seattle as many of whom are refugees fleeing war torn

National Organization for Rare Disorders
